My dad has a history of making seafood chowder every New Years Day for those who can come and celebrate, eat, drink, and play games. The chowder is improved upon each year, it seems, and so have the names of each year's soup pot's contents. Tom and I improvised, and he made crab stuffed prawns with linguine and scallops. It was amazing!!! I helped de-vein the shrimpies and stuff them with little balls of crab treats, but Tom made everything, including a really rich and creamy sauce to drizzle over it all.
